ABOUT ME
Welcome to my new web gallery! Many of you know me from owning the Saturday Cove Gallery in Maine for the last 14 years. I loved running the daily operations but now I am ready to paint full time.
I am a self taught artist inspired by Matisse, Chagal and many local Maine painters.
I paint with acrylics on canvas which lends itself to the vibrant colors, and the wit and whimsey of my subject matter. Whether two rotund retrievers juggle beach balls, a delightful rendition of island living or alop-sidely whimsical lighthouse, all are infused with a sense of optimism and joy.
As all my friends and family know I am never at a loss for the next new project, so check back often on my photo blog to see my lastest endeavors. I relish this time to CREATE!
